I am currently a grade twelve student at Vincent Massey Collegiate. At the age of three, I was diagnosed with moderate to severe hearing loss. Since then, I have worn hearing aids which have greatly affected my quality of life. I am very social and athletic, so I love going out with friends as well as being on sports teams. My hearing aids have given me the privilege to participate in all my favorite things and not feel like I am missing out. They have also helped me to communicate with my family in the same way that anyone else would, so I am grateful for that as well. My Aunt, Kristy, helped me a lot when it came to my hearings aids and was a huge form of support for me when adapting to all the change. I have her to thank for helping me to live the life that I do now. I am new to Ear Architects Hearing Care, and I am incredibly happy to be a part of this community. I find comfort in being able to relate to clients and have a mutual understanding of what it is like to wear hearing aids. I am also happy to help those who are going through the same feelings and changes that I have gone through and remind them how important and life changing it is to be able to hear.
