Donate your Hearing Aids today
In an initiative to protect the environment, recycle hearing aids, and help others in need, we have created a hearing aid donation program to facilitate Sustainability.
Together with the Canadian Hard of Hearing - Manitoba Chapter, the Charleswood Rotary has implemented collection boxes and applications for those in need of assistance for funding of hearing aids.

How to Donate
Donations are welcome at any time, for any reason.
Presently we have a box at the following public locations:

Shaftsbury Senior Center - 905 Shaftesbury Blvd

Do we Recycle Hearing Aids
Yes!! Hearing aids can be recycled!
The Canadian Hard of Hearing - Manitoba Chapter, as well as our office have received a few inquiries about recycling hearing aids and yes we do accept them.
CHHA Manitoba Chapter has been partnering with The Charleswood Rotary, and Lions Foundation to recycle used hearing aids.
The foundation of is a non-profit organization that provides hearing related services to both children and adults. They help those requiring specialized surgery or hearing aids.
We know the cost of hearing aids is high and can be out of reach for some people.

The Program & Qualification
It’s a simple program:
(1) Drop off your used hearing aid.
(2) Charleswood Rotary and/or The Lions Foundation of Manitoba will recycle these hearing aids.
(3) In partnership with
Ear Architects Hearing Care, the hearing aids will be re-manufactured into new hearing aids for those who need them.
(4) How to Apply
Those individuals that are interested, can fill out a Financial Assistance form, along with a minimal payment to qualify for donated hearing aids.
